Book A Trip

Tanzania, officially the United Republic of Tanzania, is a large East African nation located south of the equator along the Indian Ocean. It combines mainland Tanganyika with the islands of Zanzibar and Pemba. Known for its political stability, biodiversity, and cultural diversity, it hosts Africa’s highest peak, Mount Kilimanjaro, and vast wildlife reserves such as Serengeti National Park.

Tanzania’s landscape spans coastal plains, volcanic highlands, and interior plateaus divided by the East African Rift System. It borders eight countries and includes parts of Lakes Victoria, Tanganyika, and Nyasa. The climate ranges from humid coastal tropics to temperate highlands. Over a quarter of the land is protected for conservation, encompassing Serengeti National Park, Ngorongoro Conservation Area, and Selous Game Reserve
