Travel to Fiji

Fiji is an island nation and republic in the South Pacific Ocean, consisting of more than 300 islands and about 540 islets. Known for its lush tropical landscapes and vibrant coral reefs, it is both a regional economic hub and a global tourism destination. Fiji’s strategic location and active diplomacy make it influential among Pacific Island nations.

Fiji lies about 2,100 km north of New Zealand and features two main islands, Viti Levu and Vanua Levu, which host most of its people. Mountainous interiors rise to Mount Tomanivi (1,324 m), while coastal plains support agriculture. The islands’ volcanic origins, coral reefs, and tropical maritime climate create rich biodiversity but also exposure to cyclones and rising sea levels.
